ANGLE UNIT MEASUREMENT

The concept of angle is one of the most important concepts in geometry. The concepts of equality, sums, and differences of angles are important and used throughout geometry, but the subject of trigonometry is based on the measurement of angles. There are two commonly used units of measurement for angles; the degree and radian.

Units of Angle

  • Angular Mils (µ mil)
  • Arcminutes (arcmin)
  • Arcseconds (arcsec)
  • Binary Degrees (b deg)
  • Binary Radians (brad)
  • Centesimal Minute Of Arc (c MOA)
  • Centesimal Second Of Arc (c SOA)
  • Centiradians (crad)
  • Circles (o)
  • Degrees (°deg)
  • Diameter Parts (Ø part)
  • Gons (gon)
  • Gradians (grad)
  • Hexacontades (hc)
  • Hour Angles (HA)
  • Microarcseconds (μas)
  • Microradians (µrad)
  • Milliarcseconds (mas)
  • Milliradians (mrad/mil)
  • Mils[milliradians] (mil)
  • Minute Of Arc (MOA)
  • Nanoradians (nrad)
